People come to the Music and Meditation evenings for a variety of reasons. Some just want to enjoy the peace and relaxation of the guided meditation. Others find that during the meditation they receive inspiration and are able to convey received philosophy to other members of the group. Some find that they start to receive messages for group members from people in spirit, and this may be the start of the road to the development of mediumship.

Everyone is welcome to come and participate in the Music and Meditation evening. The evening lasts from 7.30pm to 9.45 pm to allow time for each element to take place. Leaving the church during this time can be unsettling for the other memebers present so if you are planning to attend please make sure that you can stay for the duration of the evening. Please be aware that the doors are locked at 7.30 pm and no-one is allowed in after that time so please try to come before then. There is a charge of £2.50 to cover costs but you do get a cup of tea and biscuits afterwards.

Albert here is welcoming new participants and introducing the Meditation. He then gives a guided meditation to the accompanying sound of peaceful music playing in the background. During the meditation natural silences are created and it is particularly during these, though not restricted to them, that people may receive inspiration and philosophy. Everyone's journey is unique and at the end there is an opportunity to share the experience and to receive helpful reflections from others.

After the Meditation participants go quietly within themselves again, this time particularly to try to open themselves to receive communication for others in the group from people in spirit.

Afterwards there is an opportunity for some refreshments and pleasant conversation to bring an enjoyable evening to its conclusion.
